By subscribing to or using FirstStake's daily construction intelligence reports ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FirstStake provides daily scored reports on building permits, license registrations, and bid opportunities across Texas. Reports are delivered via email on business days. The Service is designed for informational purposes to assist commercial general contractors in identifying potential project opportunities.
Project valuations, scores, and other data points in our reports are estimates derived from publicly available municipal records and permit fee schedules. They are not guarantees of actual project values, timelines, or outcomes. FirstStake makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of estimated values. Users should independently verify all information before making business decisions.
The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
Your subscription begins immediately upon signup at the applicable monthly rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, you will continue to receive reports through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will apply. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Your subscription grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to use our reports for your internal business purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or share reports with third parties outside your organization without written permission from FirstStake.
FirstStake aggregates data from publicly available municipal sources. Some data is provided by the City of Fort Worth, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This data has been modified and adapted for use in our reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstStake's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim. FirstStake shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
FirstStake aims to deliver reports every business day but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Reports may be delayed or unavailable due to technical issues, data source outages, or maintenance. We will notify subscribers of any extended disruptions.
FirstStake reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
